Please pass the antihistamine

I came across a Forbes.com list today of the worst 100 cities for spring allergies and guess what.. we are surrounded by cities in the top 10. Tulsa, Dallas, St. Louis, Little Rock.. the list goes on. I've never had too bad of allergies, but they seem to be a little worse this year for some reason. I remember when I was a little girl, my mom took me to be tested. If you've ever been tested, you know they prick you with little pins all over your back and arm. Well, I was little enough, I believed them when they told me they were drawing a picture of Mickey Mouse on my back. I was so disappointed and a little mad to be honest (I was around 5 after all) when I saw it was just lines of little red dots. I still got a sticker when I left the office, so all was well. After doing a little research today, I found out that pollen counts are higher in the morning. So if you're an allergy sufferer as well, they suggested taking that run or walk in the afternoon or evening to keep your symptoms at bay. There's nothing like a nice spring breeze blowing through the house, but that's only making things worse, at least for the time being. All that pollen is just blowing right into my house, so until we get a good rain to wash it all away, I'll just have to enjoy the breeze from my fan!
