Sudoku has become a ginorous hit in the U.S. and across the world... so much so that it has officially been added to Merriam-Webster's newly updated edition of the dictionary. Ginormous was added as well... as were 98 other words. A few other words now in the dictionary -- crunk, speed dating, Bollywood and smackdown. Merriam-Webster officials say for words to make it into the dictionary, they have to have promise of sticking around for a while.

One more thing... just because these words are in the dictionary, doesn't mean they are in spellcheck though... my computer went crazy with misspellings when checking this blog entry for errors!
