If you are a fan of Oprah, you may have heard of this project... it's call Pajama Program and provides new, warm pajamas and books to needy children in the United States, and around the world. A lot of the kids receiving the pajamas are waiting to be adopted and don't have the usual comforts of home. One of the founders of Pajama Program was on Oprah earlier this year and said after volunteering at shelters, she realized that none of the kids had their own pajamas and would go to bed in their regular clothes. So, she and another woman created Pajama Program as a way to make those kids feel special and give them something of their own. It's really a great program and you have a chance to get involved. There will be a Pajama Program pajama drive in Fayetteville this weekend. It's being held June 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Wal-Mart on Mall Avenue.
